The State Bank of India (SBI) will hold preliminary exams for junior associates (customer assistance and sales) on February 22, 27, 28, and March 1, 2025, to fill 14,191 positions.

Pattern of the Exam: Initial Exam
There will be 100 multiple-choice questions on the online preliminary exam, with a possible score of 100. The one-hour exam is broken up into three parts:
English language: 20 minutes, 30 questions, and 30 marksNumerical Ability: 20 minutes, 35 questions, and 35 marksReasoning Ability: 20 minutes, 35 questions, and 35 marks
Labeling System
Negative Marking: For every wrong response, one-fourth of the points allotted to a question will be subtracted Qualify Marks: Neither the total scores nor the individual sections have any minimum qualifying marks.Selection for Mains: Based on their cumulative results, candidates will be ranked in descending order and shortlisted for the Mains Exam. Depending on availability, there will be roughly ten times as many shortlisted applicants as there are open positions.
Phase 2: Primary Exam Structure
The SBI Clerk Mains Exam will last two hours and forty minutes and consist of 190 questions totaling 200 marks.

35 minutes, 50 questions, and 50 marks for general and financial awareness35 minutes, 40 questions, and 40 marks for general Quantitative aptitude: 45 minutes, 50 problems, and 50 marks Computer proficiency and reasoning ability: 50 questions, 60 points, 45 minutes.
