ICC CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2025 Squad -Wait is over BCCI ANNOUNCED INDIA’S 15-member team where Rohit sharma is announced as captain.
The BCCI revealed India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy in Dubai, with Rohit Sharma set to lead the team in another 50-over ICC tournament.
After an eight-year hiatus, the Champions Trophy will return with a hybrid format. India’s matches will be played in Dubai, while the remaining games will be hosted across three venues in Pakistan. India played their first match on February 20, against Bangladesh, followed by group-stage matches against Pakistan and New Zealand in the eight-team competition.
India and Pakistan faced off in the final of the previous edition in 2017 at the Oval, where the Men in Blue endured a heavy defeat against their arch-rivals. India had previously won the trophy in 2013 under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. In 2002, they were awarded joint championships with Sri Lanka after the final was left due to rain.
